Children’s minds are valuable to me

Children’s minds are valuable to me

There is nothing in the world more valuable to me than the mind of a child. Children are the future of the world. I do my part in protecting the minds of my own kids and in supporting the education of kids around the world.

Two young girls share a secret, whisper, sit in a hammock.

When a child speaks to me, I listen intently, even if I find it difficult to understand what they are trying to say. Listening to their innovative thoughts is refreshing for me.

I treat kids with just as much respect as I do adults. When a child speaks to me, I listen without interrupting or interjecting my own opinions. I inspire the children in my life to think for themselves and to feel comfortable sharing their ideas with me.

I stand up for kids in every way I can because they are often left voiceless in a world ruled by adults.

I become involved in local schools to help educators unlock the potential stored inside each child. Looking at the faces of the children light up each time I read a book or assist in tutoring, I feel an immeasurable reward.

The innocence of children’s minds inspires me to simplify my life in order to achieve true fulfillment.

Children have radars for wonder. They love to explore and discover the beauty and grandness of everything in our world.

Today, I choose to pause and look for a child near me from whom I can learn. By becoming involved with children, I take action toward shaping the future of our nation and our world.
