I do what is necessary to have the best health possible. I focus on getting enough rest, eating nutritious food, and engaging in physical activity.
Having a bedtime ritual is integral to obtaining a good night’s sleep. I take a bath and then read for an hour to relax. I turn in early enough to ensure I obtain seven or eight hours of sleep. I wake up refreshed and ready for the day.
I realize my nutritional intake largely determines how I feel.
Proper nourishment maintains my good health and heals me when I am unwell.
Eating fresh fruit and healthy grains for breakfast starts my day off well. At lunchtime, I eat low-fat protein and plenty of vegetables. For dinner, succulent fish and a variety of roasted and fresh raw vegetables end my day on a positive note.
I look forward to exercise in my day. When weather permits, I run, walk, or ride my bike in the morning before work. I take a short walk during my lunch hour. Some days after work, I go work out at the gym.
Today, I understand the importance of caring for my health. I do what I can to keep fit and my body rewards me with excellent performance.
