I respect my own feelings

I work diligently to focus on my emotions because my feelings play a major role in my life.

I depend on my emotions to let me know how to respond in a given situation. When I am charged with selecting from several options, the choices I make largely depend on how I feel at the time.

I know I can count on my feelings to guide me in every situation. When I am afraid, I listen to my feelings, which lead me to be careful in my choices. And when I feel happy, my emotions encourage me to act in a relaxed and carefree manner.

I know my feelings give me accurate input about a situation or event. My feelings are signposts, showing me the best way to handle whatever comes along in life.

I respect my emotions because I know I can depend on them to guide me.

Because my feelings are an intimate part of me, I know when I’ll need to steer myself through one of life’s storms.

Today, I choose to reflect on the importance and value of my own emotions. I intend to make it a point to respect my feelings in every event that life brings.
