Although I work many long hours, I deserve to spend time partaking in activities that make me happy. I schedule time for exercise and other physical activities because I want to live a long and healthy life. I truly enjoy doing things that challenge my mind and curiosity.
I feel great when I pursue my hobbies. They bring me joy and satisfaction.
My pastimes help me to achieve better balance in my life. I am a better partner, parent, friend, and co-worker when I take time for myself. I set aside at least one hour on work days and three or more hours on the weekends to pursue my hobbies.
I put my efforts into creating craft items, collecting coins, and working on my golf game. I enjoy the company of others who share my same interests.
I am more relaxed because I regularly take part in my hobbies. I am a happier, healthier, and more giving person because I allow myself to pursue my interests. I build up emotional capital to “spend” on others when I do the things I love.
Today, I set aside time to work on my hobbies. I look for new activities I can add to my list. I allow time each week to take part in things that I am interested in. I am worthy of spending time doing exactly as I choose.
